Jane Weesner is a Software Engineer with a diverse background in software development and education. Currently employed at Figma since August 2022, Jane previously held positions at Trace Genomics as a Software Engineer and Lead Applications Engineer. Jane's experience also includes teaching as a Lead Software Engineering Fellow at Hack Reactor, where algorithm lectures and one-on-one mentorship were provided to enhance students' understanding of computer science fundamentals and coding practices. Earlier in Jane's career, roles included Software Tester at Epic, focusing on workflow testing and UX evaluations, as well as a Salmon Research Intern at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association. Jane holds a B.A. in Biology from Vassar College and completed a Software Engineering Immersive program at Hack Reactor.
