Lauren Ryan

Lauren Ryan serves as the Head of Figma for Education since September 2021, where leadership focuses on empowering students and educators in design. Previously, from September 2017 to September 2021, Lauren was the Product Marketing Lead for Google for Education, overseeing global marketing for essential educational tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet. A Fulbright Scholar between June 2016 and April 2017, Lauren had a transformative year teaching over 250 girls at a public boarding school. Lauren founded 'Dear Penn Freshmen' in 2016, collaborating with the author and professor Adam Grant, and also provided pro-bono consulting services with The Social Impact Consulting Group from 2013 to 2016. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, with concentrations in Social Impact, Marketing, and Product Design.
