Rose McLucas

Rose McLucas is an experienced Events Content Strategist at Figma since January 2024, where responsibilities include leading the events programming strategy for both virtual and in-person engagements. Prior to this role, Rose served as Vice President of Experiential at Blavity Inc. from September 2019 to November 2023, overseeing the experiential strategy and programming for AfroTech, managing events for over 20,000 attendees. Additional roles at Blavity included Senior Director of Experiential and Event Producer, demonstrating expertise in talent booking and programming for diverse events. Earlier experiences encompass event consulting at RM Consulting, program development management at Revealed America and ACCESS Destination Services, as well as event production at Taste Catering. Rose holds a B.A. in Marketing and Communication from San Francisco State University and has further education from NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute and Griffith University.
