Samantha Steele is a Senior Staff Engineer at Figma, leading a significant multi-year project to horizontally shard the company's database stack, enhancing scalability and reliability while enabling new revenue opportunities. Previously, Samantha served as a Senior Software Engineer at Dropbox, managing Edgestore, the company's petabyte-scale Metadata Storage layer, which delivers high availability and performance.
