Sean Rice

Sean Rice is a seasoned Senior Security Engineer at Figma, focusing on Data Security vision and implementation across platforms since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sean accumulated extensive experience at Capital One from August 2019 to May 2022, initially serving as a Software Engineer in Cyber Operations & Intelligence and later as an Associate Software Engineer, where responsibilities included leading threat simulations and developing full-stack solutions for support automation. Sean also held an internship at Capital One, contributing to AWS infrastructure and application development, alongside previous internships at Leidos, enhancing solutions for Air Traffic Controller displays, and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Department of Biochemistry, conducting research and data analysis. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 2019.
