Sean Thompson

Sean Thompson is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Product Designer at Figma since September 2025, Sean previously held various roles at Loom, including Senior Principal Product Designer and Principal Product Designer, during a period that included the company's acquisition by Atlassian. Sean's earlier career features notable positions at Twitter, advancing from Product Designer to Senior Staff Product Designer, and a Lead Product Designer role at Trulia. Sean's foundational experience includes design positions at Active Ingredients and Originate Labs, as well as project management at Fisher-Price, Inc. In addition to professional experience, Sean contributed to academia as an instructor at the Academy of Art University. Sean holds a BA in Pre-Law Studies from the University at Buffalo.
