Aniko Szigetvari

Aniko Szigetvari is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital and corporate governance. As a Founding Partner at Atlantica Ventures VC Fund since 2019, Aniko focuses on early-stage investments in Africa. Simultaneously, Aniko serves as a Venture Partner at Tribe Capital and as a Board Member at Figorr, a cold chain IoT company. Aniko holds the position of Board Chair at Sendmarc, an email security firm, and has been an Independent Board Member at IHS Towers since 2014, acting as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Prior to these roles, Aniko was the Global Head of the Technology, Media & Telecom Group at the International Finance Corporation from 1998 to 2019, overseeing numerous investments across emerging markets. Aniko's professional background also includes positions in advisory and finance at Convergence Partners, McKinsey & Company, Mondelēz International, and DHL Worldwide Express. Aniko earned an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
