Katayoon Tayebi

Katayoon Tayebi is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and business affairs. Currently serving as Sr. Director, Associate General Counsel at FIGS from September 2022 to March 2024, Katayoon previously held the role of Senior Counsel, Corporate Transactions & Business Affairs at Compass, where contributions included managing significant capital raises and leading numerous acquisitions. Additionally, Katayoon is a Charter Member of TechGC, a peer community for Deputy General Counsels, since October 2021. Earlier experience includes roles at WilmerHale as a Corporate Associate, focusing on emerging companies, and a legal internship at Ascent Technologies Inc. Katayoon holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley.
