Devan Stormont is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading development teams and building innovative technology solutions. As a Principal Software Engineer at Figure since November 2019, Devan focuses on extending core lending products for third-party partners using a tech stack that includes Kotlin, React, and Typescript. Previous roles include Staff and Senior Software Engineer positions at Voyage Studios, alongside their role as Founder, where Devan developed the Highway Weather app. Devan's diverse experience includes co-producing the Reno Dance Expo, enhancing invoice automation systems at HubTran, reviewing projects for Udacity, and contributing to various software platforms at TrainerRoad and PC-Doctor, Inc. Devan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
