Lee Duan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the fintech industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Figure since September 2025, Lee leads engineering efforts on Figure Exchange. Previously, from March 2024 to September 2025, Lee held the title of Vice President of Engineering at Figure Markets, overseeing the launch of the Democratized Prime peer-to-pool lending platform. Lee's career at Figure began in January 2018, progressing through roles such as managing a team of around 50 engineers and serving as Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer, contributing to several key products. Prior experience includes roles at SoFi, where significant contributions were made to the SoFi Invest platform and mobile applications, alongside earlier positions at Metrodigi, Inc., and Square. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Seton Hall University.
