Reid Simon

Reid Simon is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit solutions and decentralized finance. Currently serving as the Head of Democratized Prime at Figure since August 2025, Simon previously led DeFi and credit solutions at Securitize, where responsibilities included developing innovative credit products that bridge digital asset securities and decentralized finance. Prior to Securitize, Simon served as the Head of Credit at Blockchain.com, successfully launching and growing a private credit business exceeding $4 billion. Simon's career began with roles in finance and operations at Uber and investment banking at Credit Suisse, complemented by co-founding and managing MaGil IRB, a firm specializing in biomedical human subjects research. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Duke University and a BA in Political Science and Pre-Medicine from Vanderbilt University.
