Willy Jaramillo

Willy Jaramillo is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend and frontend development, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Figure since October 2021. Previously, Jaramillo worked at ChenMed and SambaSafety, where skills in Java/Groovy, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB were utilized to maintain and improve legacy systems. Notably, during a tenure at Softech International, Jaramillo co-led the design and development of the Fleet Alert web application, a driver risk management tool. The career began with the founding of Ivires Corp, where a signature CRM web application was developed, alongside contributions at Softech International in automating business processes. Jaramillo holds a degree from Florida International University, completed in 2002.
