Dave Dodds

Dave Dodds is the current CEO at Figured. Dave has extensive experience in business development and sales, having held various positions at New Zealand Post, Datam, Sellogic Ltd, BMC Software, and Open Technology Ltd. Dave Dodds began their career in 1982 as an actuary for NZI Life Insurance and Aetna. Dave then transitioned into tech support and pre-sales consulting before becoming the Marketing Director at Open Technology Ltd. In 1999, Dave Dodds became the Sales Director for ANZ Enterprise Accounts at BMC Software. Dave left BMC Software in 2008 to start their own company, Sellogic Ltd. Dave Dodds sold Sellogic Ltd in 2010 and joined Datam as Head of Sales. Dave left Datam in 2011 to join New Zealand Post as Business Market Development Manager for Digital Platforms. Dave Dodds has been with Figured since 2015 and was promoted to CEO in 2019.

Dave Dodds graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Commerce from The University of Auckland. Dave then entered as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and attended the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries.
