Prashil Kumar

Prashil Kumar has extensive experience in IT and cybersecurity, currently serving as Senior Manager IT & Cybersecurity and Head of IT Operations, Infrastructure & Information Security at Fiji Airways since January 2016. In this strategic role, Prashil oversees various IT divisions and ensures alignment of IT objectives with business strategies. Prior to this, Prashil held the position of Assistant IT Manager at Carpenters Fiji Limited, managing a team of 30 to support multiple companies within the Carpenters Group. Earlier experience includes roles at Asco Motors as a Technical Analyst and Systems Support Analyst, focusing on IT infrastructure enhancements and ERP support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific, along with various certifications in network security and cybersecurity, such as CISSP and CCNA.
