The Search for the Missing Bun
What happens when two Swedes ditch their corporate lives, move to the vibrant chaos of Bengaluru, and develop a powerful craving for their homeland's most cherished ritual?

It started as a desperate mission: to find a proper Swedish cinnamon bun. A real one. Soft, pillowy, and generous with the cardamom. When the search came up empty, we realized if we wanted to bring the art of the Swedish pause—the fika—to India, we’d have to bake it ourselves.

From Trailing Spouses to Cardamom Crusaders
We (Dennis & Niklas) didn’t move to Bengaluru for a startup. We moved for love. Our wives are MDs at large Swedish companies, and we brought our own tiny board of directors (our kids) along.

We pivoted from an idea about exporting spices to baking with them. But we couldn't do it alone.

Enter Leanne: The Secret Weapon
Leanne is a Paris-trained pâtissière with the grit of a true Bangalorean. She brings precise French technique to our Nordic doughs. We bring the stubborn Swedish insistence on tradition; she brings the skill to make it perfect.
