Elspeth Jones

Elspeth Jones is the founder of WildCounsel, providing thought partnership and mentoring for legal professionals driving transformative change, and serves as Nature Guardian at the National Infrastructure Commission for Wales. In November 2023, Elspeth became the Non-Executive Chair and Advisor at FILE and holds the position of Trustee/Non-Executive Director at the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. Elspeth is a Fellow of The RSA and previously served as Interim Deputy Chief Executive Officer at ClientEarth, a climate-focused legal organization, and as a member of the Strategic Legal Response Centre Advisory Panel at Forest Peoples Programme. Additional roles include Executive Director at Size of Wales and Vice-Chair of the Board at the Sumatran Orangutan Society. Elspeth's academic credentials include advanced coaching and mentoring certification from the British School of Coaching, a Bar Vocational Course from BPP Law School, and degrees in law from the University of Oxford.
