James Oakley

James Oakley currently serves as the Head of Finance, Strategy, Policy and Performance at FILE since August 2022. Prior to this role, James held multiple positions at British Red Cross from January 2020 to August 2022, including Finance Business Partner for Mass Market Fundraising and International Programme Accountant and Trainer. James also gained experience at Marks and Spencer between November 2015 and January 2020, working as an Analyst in Digital Finance, Foods Logistics Finance, and Foods Finance. Earlier in James's career, a Finance Assistant role was undertaken at Freightliner Group Ltd from July 2013 to July 2014. In terms of education, James completed an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance at BPP from 2016 to 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Nottingham Trent University from 2011 to 2015.
