CTO at FileCloud

Anis drives technology innovation and overall mobile technology vision for the company in his role as the Chief Architect at FileCloud. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology areas ranging from embedded system development to large, distributed design and development. His expertise lies in requirements analysis, architecture and design of large systems over a wide range of technologies.

Anis has been instrumental with design, development and delivery of the server, mobile and client app products for FileCloud. He is responsible for spearheading initiatives such as FileCloud Drive file streaming app and mobile application development. He also led transformation of the FileCloud codebase to better handle the changing requirements brought by new areas such as compliance, workflow automation and security.

In fall of 2019, Anis led the architecture and development of AirSend, a cloud product designed for team collaboration. This is a strategic initiative for FileCloud to better serve the needs of distributed enterprises.

Before FileCloud, he spent over 13 years at IBM’s Server division, overseeing design, engineering and architecture for embedded firmware. He holds over 17 patents in reliability and redundancy of server systems. Anis’s experience enables bringing in highly scalable and efficient architectures to FileCloud’s products and services.

When not working on FileCloud’s software, Anis is an avid Astro-photographer and astronomy enthusiast. He holds multiple APODs from NASA for his astro-photographs.

Anis holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station.
