Megan Barnard

Megan Barnard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

In 2012, they worked as a Student Peer Coordinator at Hollins University's Wyndham Robertson Library, where they managed work-study students, assisted patrons, and trained employees in library systems. Megan continued in this role until 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Megan worked as a Traveler Support Associate at Grand Circle Corporation, where they established and improved customer relationships, handled payments, customized tours, and answered inquiries via phone and computer databases.

In 2016, they joined Angel Publishing as an Editorial Assistant, where they wrote daily blog posts and weekly articles on finance and investment topics. Megan then transitioned to the role of Editor in 2016 and continued until 2017.

In 2017, Megan interned as an Editorial Intern at Folio Literary Management, P.S. Literary Agency, and Amanda Jain (BookEnds Literary). Here, they gained experience in the editorial field.

From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Meridian Home Mortgage Corporation as a Junior Copywriter, before being promoted to Senior Copywriter and Social Media Manager from 2019 to 2020. During their time there, Megan created and managed content for social media platforms.

In 2020, they became an Associate Literary Agent at The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency and held this role until 2021.

Currently, Megan is working as a Digital Content Specialist at FileCloud, a position they started in 2021.

Megan Barnard attended Hollins University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, with a concentration in Creative Writing. During their time at Hollins University, they also completed a double minor in Communications and History.
