Dirk Marek has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a role as a Russian and German Linguist for the United States Air Force in 1978. Dirk then worked as a Program Manager/Systems Analyst for ACS Defense/Betac Corporation from 1989-2000. In 2000, they became the Director of Research and Development at Springer-Miller Systems, where they oversaw the development of software designed for the hospitality industry. From 2002-2006, Dirk worked as a Consultant for Perceptive Computing, followed by a role as a Management Information Analyst and Accounting Technician for the Department of Homeland Security from 2006-2018. Since 2018, Dirk has been working as a Senior Developer & Solutions Consultant for FileOnQ, developing software solutions to enhance their core product offerings.
Dirk Marek obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in General Studies from Johnson State College between 2004 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Intelligence Collection from the Community College of the Air Force between 1978 and 1988.
