Carlos Valdivia has a long history of working in the web development industry. Carlos began their career in 2005 as a Lead Developer at Guivaldi, where they created, updated and maintained multiple sites, hand coded XHTML/CSS, worked extensively with Flash and Actionscript 2.0 on Adobe CS3, designed graphics, logos and animation for websites, collaborated with content providers, and did PHP programming on every site. In 2008, they moved to TicketFusion as a Web/Flash Developer, where they upgraded and expanded the entire website using HTML, CSS, Flash, Actionscript 2.0, PHP, XML, and Photoshop, designed ticket graphics for printing using InDesign and Illustrator, and created multiple user interfaces for the ticketing business. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Drupal/Web Developer at S&A Cherokee and then as a Drupal Developer at Beasley Interactive. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Global Knowledge as a Front-End Web Developer, where they created and maintained web applications based in PHP, C#, ASP and ASP.NET, and worked with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL. In 2014, they moved to Expion as a GUI Developer, where they added functionality to a .Net based web application with Javascript including AngularJS and JQuery, maintained and debugged web applications, utilized Visual Studio 2012 as the main tool, maintained MSSQL databases, and did heavy CSS debugging. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Drupal Developer at both Fidelity Charitable and the State of North Carolina. Finally, in 2018, they moved to FilePoint\u00ae as a Software Engineer, building applications in C# with Visual Studio 2015, building and maintaining sites based in Wordpress, building and maintaining sites based in Foundation Zurb, utilizing Git for version control, utilizing Gulp for automation, utilizing Node.js/NPM, working with SASS, working with Bootstrap/JQuery/AJAX, building RESTful APIs in C#, utilizing Visual Studio Code and editing images in Photoshop.

Carlos Valdivia received their high school diploma from Sanderson H.S. in 1996 and then went on to obtain a B.S. in CIS Web Development from ECPI University in 2009.
