Jess Brown

Jess Brown has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jess started their career as a Production Assistant Intern at Rivetal, Inc. in 2009, where they performed CD/DVD quality assurance testing and media preparation. Jess then worked as a Parking Enforcement Officer at USU Parking and Transportation, where they enforced parking rules and regulations and issued tickets.

In 2011, Jess joined Syncnet, Inc. as a Graphic Designer and Product Manager. In this role, they developed and updated websites, graphics, logos, and layouts. Jess also created new products, handled marketing, and refined sales strategies. Jess made the UVU Career and Technical Education Department website responsive to mobile devices.

Jess had a brief stint as a Graphic and Web Designer for the USU CREU Research Grant, where they designed and developed games, videos, posters, and websites. Jess then worked as a Writing Fellow at USU Writing Fellows, critiquing students' papers and providing advice for improvement.

From 2012 to 2016, Jess was a Junior Varsity Girls' Lacrosse Coach at Sky View High School. Jess coached the team, managed a group of about 20 girls, taught them how to play lacrosse, and planned and led practices.

In 2014, Jess joined PrinterLogic as a Contract Web Developer and Social Media Manager. Jess developed the Alpha version of the PrinterLogic iOS app and a Return On Investment Calculator web app. Jess also maintained and updated the company's website, graphics, and landing page layouts. Additionally, they created and implemented web and PDF case studies and managed social media accounts.

In 2016, Jess became an HTML Production Developer at EKR, where they worked until 2018. Jess then worked as an Email Design Consultant at RevampDesign, collaborating with software companies to increase email open and click-through rates.

Most recently, Jess joined Filevine in 2019 as a Marketing Web Developer, and they were promoted to Senior Marketing Web Developer in August 2021. Jess'sresponsibilities in this role include web development and contributing to marketing initiatives.

Jess Brown attended Utah State University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Jess also obtained several certifications. They received an Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in January 2018, followed by an Email Marketing Certification from the same institution in June 2019. More recently, in February 2021, Jess obtained the Google Tag Manager Fundamentals certification from Google.
