Nate Astle

Nate Astle has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Nate began their career in 2003 as a Jr Software Developer at IDI Global. From 2004 to 2007, they worked at Xango as a Programmer, where they developed and maintained systems for distributors. Nate then joined GetFon as a Software Engineer, responsible for developing front-end applications and integrating billing solutions.

In 2009, Nate moved to Alianza, where they initially worked as a .NET Developer, handling web application migrations and database management. Nate later became a Lead Engineer/Scrum Master/Architect, overseeing VoIP integration and mentoring a development team. Nate utilized Cassandra, Rabbit MQ, and Solr for efficient data processing.

Nate's next career move was to NUVI in 2015, where they worked as a Senior Manager Software Development/Senior Software Engineer. Nate incorporated ElasticSearch, migrated to Mongo, and designed a scalable data processing pipeline using Kubernetes. Nate also focused on meeting customer needs and reducing infrastructure costs.

Currently, Nate is the VP of Software Engineering at Filevine, starting in 2019. Prior to their current role, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering and the Director of Engineering. Further details about their responsibilities in these roles are not provided.

In addition to their professional experience, Nate served as an Information System Operator Analyst in the United States Army Reserve from 1996 to 2006.

Nate Astle earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Utah Valley University, where they studied from 2000 to 2007. Additionally, they pursued a BS degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering during their time at the university from 2000 to 2006.
