Jonathan Hyatt

Jonathan Hyatt has over 18 years of work experience in the software development field. Jonathan most recently worked as a Software Developer at Fillip since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Agile Coach at Improving from May 2020 to April 2021.

Jonathan also held the role of Director of Development at Reach Inc from December 2018 to March 2020. Before that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Leavetown.com Vacations from November 2017 to November 2018, where they also worked as a Software Developer and Agile Coach from November 2015 to November 2017.

In addition, Jonathan has experience as a Sitecore Consultant - Project Lead at Fishtank Consulting from June 2015 to December 2015, and as a Technical Lead - Software Development at Karo Group, Inc. from March 2010 to May 2015.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as a Software Architect / Developer (.NET MVC/C#) at Gridly in 2009 and as a Software Architect & Technical Lead (ASP.NET/C#) at Interactive Applicant from October 2007 to May 2009.

Jonathan began their career as a Software Developer (ASP.NET/C#) at Western Diazo in February 2003 and also worked as a Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET/C#) at Cedarglen Homes from March 2004 to June 2006.

Jonathan Hyatt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org, obtained in December 2020, the Certified Professional in Agile Coaching certification from ICAgile, obtained in March 2016, the PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2015, the Project Management Certificate from Mount Royal University Continuing Education, obtained in April 2011, the Sitecore Certified Developer certification from Sitecore, obtained in June 2010, and the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in February 2010.
