Prior to Filson, Ali was a Graphic Designer in Desktop Publishing at Aldus Corporation, contributing to the development of the groundbreaking software PageMaker. Ali holds a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Southern California, where they graduated with First Class Honours.
