Holly Roa

Holly Roa is an experienced freelance photographer and digital asset manager, currently working with HJR Photos since September 2015 and Filson since February 2021. Roles include product photography, art-directed photography, retouching, and color correction, alongside administrative responsibilities for digital asset management using Canto. Previously, Holly contributed to SLR Lounge as a freelance retoucher and author from 2016 to 2019, crafting weekly content on photography. Additional experience includes freelance roles at SanMar and Julep Beauty, as well as an internship at Lara Swimmer Photography, focusing on photo compositing and retouching. Holly's early career involved portrait photography at O'Connor Photography, Designer Studio, and JCP Portraits. Holly holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Commercial Photography from Seattle Central Creative Academy, attained between 2014 and 2016.
