Karen Ma is an experienced technical design specialist with over four decades in the apparel industry. Currently serving as the Head Pattern Maker at Filson since October 2013, Karen Ma manages all aspects of garment patterns, focusing on fit evaluation, grading, and production readiness while also mentoring new employees. Previously, as a Production Pattern Maker and Fit Specialist at Tommy Bahama, Karen Ma collaborated with a team of designers to produce over 700 garments annually. Earlier roles included Pattern Maker at Eddie Bauer, where Karen Ma contributed to high-profile projects, and various positions at Roffe Ski Wear, including management of a skilled team. Karen Ma's education includes studies at New Method Evening College and Sham Shui Po Tailoring School in Hong Kong.
