Robert William Pye

Robert William Pye has a strong background in operations and supply chain management. Robert William started their career at Bridgestone Australia Ltd. in 2000 as a Technical Manager in Sales and Marketing. In 2003, they joined Amcor as an Operations Manager and National Improvement Leader. Robert William then moved to Avery Dennison in 2007 and held various roles, including Operations and Supply Chain Director for ANZ and ASEAN & ANZ, and Operations Director for Asia Pacific. In 2016, Pye joined Essentra, where they served as Global Operations Director, Global Business & Operations Director, and Divisional Managing Director. Robert William is currently the CEO of Filtrona, starting in 2022.

Robert William Pye completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Adelaide between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of South Australia from 1989 to 1995. In 2004, Robert obtained a Certificate in Lean Leadership and Management from the Australian Institute of Management (Amcor). Additionally, they received an Advanced Certificate in Quality Management from the Australian Organisation for Quality between 1990 and 1992. Robert William'seducation history also includes a Trades Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Regency TAFE, which they completed between 1987 and 1990.
