Alexander Forster

Senior Process Engineer at Filtronic

Alexander Forster has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Heating Engineer Assistant at RAF Plumbing & Heating, where they assisted in boiler installations and other heating system tasks. In 2013, they worked as an Electrical Apprentice at both 4041 Building Contractors & Service Engineers and ISOCOM Limited, where they gained experience in domestic electrical work and semiconductor production. Alexander then progressed to the role of Service Engineer at Ammeraal Beltech in 2017, where they traveled nationwide to fit conveyor belts for various industries. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Inseto UK Limited, responsible for national and international travel to support and install semiconductor equipment. Currently, they are working as a Process Engineer at Filtronic. Throughout their career, Alexander has acquired skills in technical support, installation, commissioning, customer training, and process support.

Alexander Forster began their education in 2014 by pursuing a B-TEC level 3 in electrical engineering at Newcastle College. Alexander completed this degree in 2016. In the same year, Forster also started studying for an NVQ level 3 in electrical/electronic engineering through North East Chamber Coms/Northen Skills. Alexander finished this program in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, Forster attended Tyne Metropolitan, where they pursued an HNC degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
