Mark Black

Mark Black is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operations (COO) at Filtronic since March 2016, Mark has previously held significant roles including Operations Manager at API Technologies – SSIA Division, where responsibilities included leading strategic operations for advanced electronic warfare solutions. Mark's consulting experience at M. Black Consulting involved technical sales support and client development in microelectronic manufacturing. Earlier roles included Director of Operations at MMIC Solutions Ltd, focusing on the commercialization of military technology, and Hybrid Facility Operations Manager at QinetiQ, where Mark consolidated microwave assembly capabilities and established a new advanced micro assembly facility.
