Steve Simpson

Steve Simpson is a highly experienced electronics engineer currently serving as a Higher Senior Electronics Engineer at Filtronic since October 2025. Positioned in key roles throughout his career, Steve has previously worked as a Principal Electronics Engineer and Senior Electronics Engineer at Kromek Group plc from January 2017 to October 2025, as well as a Senior Lead Engineer at SMK Electronics from June 2015 to June 2016. Prior to that, Steve held the role of Lead Engineer and Quality Manager at IBEX Innovations from September 2014 to June 2015 and served as a Principal Engineer at Seaward Group from November 1989 to August 2014. Steve earned a BSc (Hons) in Electronics and Computer Programming from The Open University between 1999 and 2004.
