Umang Rustagi is the Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of FinAccel, a startup that is revolutionizing consumer lending in Southeast Asia. Umang was previously an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, where they served clients in the financial services space with expertise in credit risk, service operations, and large-scale transformation projects. Prior to that, they interned at The Boston Consulting Group, where they conceptualized and developed a pan-India distribution channel for an Indian steel major, leading to top-line growth of $800 million. Umang has a passion for using technology to improve financial inclusion and empower underserved communities. Umang is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and the Harvard Business School.

Umang Rustagi has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, with a focus in strategy and finance. Umang also has a M.Tech and B.Tech (Dual Degree) from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in biochemical engineering and biotechnology. Rustagi's educational career began at Delhi Public School, Faridabad where they studied physics, chemistry and mathematics.
