Sergey Shalin

Sergey Shalin has extensive experience in infrastructure management and technology leadership roles. Sergey is currently working as the Head of Infrastructure at FINAM, where they oversee a team of 40+ employees and has launched the capacity managing and planning process. Before this, they served as the Head of IT Infrastructure at MANGO OFFICE, where they led a team of 30+ subordinates and implemented various projects to improve infrastructure performance and reduce downtimes. Prior to that, Sergey worked as the Head of Department at Home Credit and Finance Bank, where they implemented several successful projects, including a platform for docker containers and CICD pipelines. Sergey also held leadership positions in Svyaznoy Bank and MegaFon, where they managed infrastructure components and completed projects such as system migrations and storage cost optimization. Sergey began their career as a Chief Engineer at Complete co LTD, where they gained expertise in hardware installation, administration, and virtualization technologies.

Sergey Shalin completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Automated Information Processing System from Samara State Aerospace University. Sergey attended the university from 2002 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Sergey also obtained an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 72/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test in March 2022.
