Matt Ellis is currently the Head of Partnerships at both Launch Potato and FinanceBuzz, positions held since 2025. They previously served as the Vice President of Business Development at The Motley Fool from 2019 to 2024 and held the role of Vice President at Pennington & Company from 2012 to 2019. Prior to these roles, they gained experience in Tax Credit and Investment Advisory Services at Ernst & Young in 2012 and were the GM of Banking and Wealth Management at QuinStreet from 2024 to 2025. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from New Mexico State University and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, both completed in 2011.
