Mark Hernan has a diverse background in both rugby and finance. As an Academy player with Leinster Rugby from July 2021 to July 2022, Mark transitioned to coaching as an Assistant Coach at St. Michael's College from September 2022 to March 2023. Currently, Mark serves as an AIL Assistant Coach at UCD Rugby Football Club since January 2024. In parallel, Mark has gained significant experience in the finance sector, working as a Senior Operations Analyst and Trading Analyst at Financefair from July 2025 to August 2024, as well as an Operations Analyst. Academically, Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Law from Technological University Dublin and is pursuing a Master's in Finance at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
