The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) serves as Jersey's national intelligence agency and competent authority responsible for the receipt, analysis and dissemination of intelligence developed from the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other reporting, aligned with Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) reporting obligations. 

We are central to all aspects of countering these threats, both to the island and internationally, and along with other domestic and international competent authorities, we play a pivotal role in Jersey's  AML/CFT strategy.

We are a member of the Egmont Group of FIUs and adhere to the Egmont Group Statement of Purpose and its Principles of Information Exchange between FIUs. Additionally, we also operate in accordance with FATF's recommendations and standards.
