SVP, CFA at Financial Profiles

Matthew has nearly 20 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, and investment analysis. He is an expert on U.S. banks having covered the industry for more than a decade on the sell-side. Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Matthew ranked among the Top 10 analysts following U.S. Mid-Cap Banks in Institutional Investor magazine's All-America Research Team.

Leveraging his significant experience in equity research, Matthew provides strategic counsel to the firm’s clients on a variety of areas including corporate positioning, valuation issues, M&A communications, shareholder activism, and investor targeting. He is also skilled in preparing companies for IPOs having served as a Joint Bookrunner analyst on several successful IPOs. Matthew has also presented on investor relations best practices to boards of directors and industry associations.

Prior to joining Financial Profiles, Matthew was a Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst at Barclays, where he covered more than 30 U.S. banks. Previously, he served as a Vice President in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers, where he followed the Financial Technology and Business & Professional Services industries.

Matthew graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Finance & Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, holds an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
