Simon Thyregod

Simon Thyregod is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in the financial, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Group Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Vice President at Nykredit since April 2017, Simon also contributes to various committees, including the Cyberpolitisk Udvalg at Finans Danmark and the Finansielt Sektorforum for Operationel Robusthed at Danmarks Nationalbank. Previous roles include CISO and Head of Department at KMD, Information Security Manager at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, and Group Risk Consultant at DONG Energy. Simon holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Informatics and a HD in Management Accounting & Process Management, which underpin a robust background in both technical and managerial aspects of information security.
