Robert Downs

Robert Downs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial technology industry. Currently serving as Global Head of Corporate & Syndicated Lending R&D and Senior Principal Product Manager at Finastra since April 2018, Robert has a strong background in product management and research and development. Prior to Finastra, Robert held the position of Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Credit Loans IT at Credit Suisse from September 1998 to April 2018. Earlier career roles include Developer at Lehman Brothers, focusing on treasury systems, and Junior Developer at HSBC, specializing in interest rate derivatives. Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing from Leeds Beckett University, obtained in 1995.
