Jon Day

Jon Day has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and auditing. Jon is currently working as the Head of Data Analytics at FINBOURNE Technology since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Financial Controller at the same company from November 2019 to September 2022.

From 2016 to 2019, Jon worked at UNIT EDITIONS LIMITED as the Head of Finance. During their time there, they contributed to the production of books for designers, design students, and followers of visual culture. Jon also worked at SPIN COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED as their Head of Finance during the same period.

Before joining these companies, Jon was an Audit and Accounts Senior at Citroen Wells in 2015, where they were responsible for producing annual statutory accounts, conducting audits, and managing junior staff. Jon also worked as an Audit and Accounts Senior at Bates Weston from 2013 to 2014.

Jon started their career as an Audit Senior at Mazars in 2009. Here, they audited a wide range of clients, including small manufacturers, charities, shipping companies, and publicly quoted conglomerates. Jon also produced internal audit reports on business planning, forecasting, and general finance systems.

Jon Day attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics BSc. In 2003, they studied at Derby College for a year, completing an A level, although the field of study is unknown. After a gap of several years, Jon pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Data Science from City, University of London from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jon obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW in August 2014.
