Quantitative Developer

Jose Moreno has a strong background in software development, particularly in the financial industry. Jose began their career at Merrill Lynch as a RAD Developer, where they developed tools to support fund managers. Jose then moved on to Cogent Investment Operations - AMP, where they worked as a Software Analyst/Developer, designing and developing a unit-linked pricing system. At Havoc Intellectual Systems, they served as a Software Analyst/Programmer, redesigning and implementing a low latency spot FX arbitrage trading system. Jose continued their career at BNP Paribas Securities Services as a Software Analyst/Programmer, developing tools to migrate funds and perform validation checks. Jose then joined Barclays Investment Bank as a Quantitative Developer, before transitioning to Barclays Capital as an FX Pricing Developer. Jose Moreno obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Málaga from 1989 to 1997. Jose then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at The Open University from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they completed a PostGrad Diploma in Mathematics at King's College London. Following this, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Master's Degree in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces (Theoretical Physics) from Imperial College London. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jose Moreno also received a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional in VB6 Desktop Applications from Microsoft in July 1999.
