Robert Byrne

Robert Byrne has extensive work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at FINBOURNE Technology since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at City Science as the CTO from August 2016 to May 2022. Robert also worked at UBS as a Delta from January 2015 to July 2016, and at Citi as a Commodities Real-time Market Data from July 2014 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as a Project Manager at RBS from July 2009 to April 2013, and as a Director at Barclays Capital from September 2000 to August 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Developer EQTG at Salomon Smith Barney and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney from 1998 to 2000.

Robert Byrne completed their education at UCL, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from 1991 to 1994. Robert then went on to pursue further studies at the same institution and received a PhD in Chemical Engineering, which they completed from 1993 to 1997.
