Benjamin Fransen

Benjamin Fransen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benjamin began their career in 1997 and 1998 as a Quality Assurance Tester at Electronic Arts. In 1999, they worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Eduverse.com, where they performed rigorous application and website testing, and produced test plan documents for regression testing.

Fransen joined MDA in 2000 and held various roles in software engineering and team leadership. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Software Engineer for NLIS, followed by a role as a Software Engineer / Team Lead for HIP from 2005 to 2007. Benjamin returned to MDA in 2007 as a Software Engineer for MVP. In 2008, they became a Team Lead / Software Engineer for Turboclaim and later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer/Team Lead for MVP in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, Fransen served as a Software Engineer for LTSA and then as a Dev Lead for LTSA from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Fransen joined FINCAD as a Senior Software Developer, contributing significantly until 2017 when they became a Development Team Lead. In 2018, they took on the role of Customer Development Americas Lead before assuming the position of Senior Solutions Architect in 2019. As a Senior Solutions Architect at FINCAD, they continue to play a vital role in the company's success.

Throughout their career, Fransen has shown strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a focus on quality assurance and testing. Their experience in various industries has provided him with a well-rounded skill set and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Benjamin Fransen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Software Engineering, from the University of Victoria. Benjamin attended the university from 1995 to 2000.
