Rita Sharma

Rita Sharma has a strong background in quantitative analysis and research. Rita worked at FINCAD from 2010 to the present, starting as a Quantitative Analyst and eventually moving up to Senior Quantitative Analyst and then Lead Quantitative Analyst. In their roles, they were responsible for conducting research and implementing new features in a financial analytic library using C++ and Python. Rita also provided technical support to Sales and Client Services. Prior to FINCAD, Rita worked as a Research Scientist at Georeference Online Ltd. from 2006 to 2008.

Rita Sharma obtained a PhD in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia from 2001 to 2006. Later, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Finance degree at the Schulich School of Business - York University. Lastly, they enrolled in the CFA Program at the CFA Institute from 2010 to 2013.
