David Hancock

David Hancock is the founder and executive chair of Bidit and serves as chairman of the board at FinClear and Ariadne Australia Limited. They have spent more than three decades leading and building financial and technology businesses across Australia and globally. Earlier in their career, Hancock held senior roles including Managing Director at Citi (Co-Head Investment Banking in Australia) and Head of Asian Equities and Derivatives at JPMorgan Chase, Executive General Manager at the Commonwealth Bank, and CEO of Tower Insurance. They were part of the team at Afterpay from seed and pre-IPO stage as a shareholder, director, and Group Head of Afterpay Touch, helping grow the company to an ASX Top 20 company. Hancock's focus across ventures is on building trusted technology platforms and empowering people to drive engagement, innovation, and performance with a challenger and curious mindset.
