Erik Jensen

Erik Jensen has worked in various roles since 2005. Erik began as a Graduate Student at UNC Chapel Hill in 2005 and then became an Instructor at the same university in 2014. In 2014, they also began working as a Data Scientist at Advanced Animal Diagnostics. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Blue Cross NC as a Data Scientist and Informatics Analyst. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer and Data Scientist at Anomaly, a precision payments platform that uses artificial intelligence and novel data sources to streamline healthcare billing and improve payment accuracy.

Erik Jensen attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2011, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics. From 2000 to 2004, they attended Boston College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics. In 2003, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, but did not earn a degree.
