Finding A Foothold Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fall prevention, caregiver support, and community safety education. Our mission is to strengthen fall prevention and community education through workshops, webinars, and group coaching that equip aging adults with practical strategies to reduce fall risk, increase independence, and support autonomy as they make intentional decisions to age in place.

We also focus on empowering caregivers by teaching safe movement strategies, proper use of assistive equipment, and injury prevention techniques. Through our caregiver-focused workshops and group coaching, we help caregivers set healthy boundaries, manage the physical demands of care, and sustain their own well-being.

Our programs are grounded in over 25 years of occupational therapy experience and guided by a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and social challenges that impact both older adults and those who care for them.
