Alban Shabani

Alban Shabani has extensive experience in card fraud management and operations across various roles in the banking and fintech sectors. Key positions include Chairperson of the Card Fraud Prevention Forum at the Kosovo Banking Association and Card Fraud & Payment Ops Manager at Monese, where Alban led the development of a card fraud team and optimized fraud detection systems. As a Freelance Card Projects Consultant, Alban has provided advisory services on various card-related projects, achieving significant fraud reduction. Previous roles include Cards & Electronic Services Manager at BPB, where Alban oversaw card operations, chargebacks, and staff training, and Fraud Prevention & Chargeback Manager at TEB Sh.A., where responsibilities included managing fraud prevention strategies and dispute resolution processes. Currently, as Head of Cards at Finductive Ltd, Alban is focused on designing and implementing card products while securing significant support from card schemes. Alban holds a degree from Bilkent University, conferred in 2009.
