Alex Herriott

Alex Herriott has worked in various software engineering and architect roles throughout their career. Alex started their career at FINEOS as a Software Test Engineer from October 1999 to June 2003, and later as a Software Engineer from March 2001 to June 2003. Alex then worked at SmartCentric Technologies International as a Software Engineer from July 2003 to September 2004.

In 2004, Alex joined Accenture as a Software Engineer and worked there until January 2006. Alex then moved to S1 Corporation, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from February 2006 to May 2012.

Since July 2018, Alex has been employed at FINEOS again, this time as a Platform Architect (Cloud). Prior to this role, they worked at FINEOS as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2012 to July 2018.

Overall, Alex Herriott has gained significant experience in software engineering and architecture roles throughout their career, with a focus on cloud platforms.

Alex Herriott earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from University College Dublin between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, between 2000 and 2003, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology from Dublin City University. Earlier in their education, between 1987 and 1998, Alex completed their Leaving Cert at St Mary's College in Rathmines. Additionally, Alex obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in April 2019 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
