Dan Watt

Senior Vice President, Product Management & Industry Strategy at FINEOS

Dan Watt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dan started their career as a Network Administrator at Users Incorporated in 2001 and then moved on to work as an IT Lead/Supervisor at CardioNet from 2003 to 2005. At CardioNet, they managed a team of Network Administrators, played a role in technical sales, and successfully led a company expansion project.

In 2005, Watt joined The Vanguard Group as a Project Manager/Manager of Data Operations, where they were responsible for overseeing projects and managing data operations. After leaving Vanguard in 2008, they joined CIGNA and took on various roles, including Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives and Director of Voluntary Operations: Group Underwriting, Operations, and Project Management. In these roles, they led project teams, managed underwriting technology platforms, and achieved significant cost savings through process improvements.

Watt then joined The Hartford in 2015 as the Director of Voluntary Strategy, where they had overall responsibility for strategy, buildout, and roadmap activities for Voluntary Enrollment Operations. Dan also had leadership roles in merger and acquisition activities and played a key role in strategic partnership with external vendors/TPAs.

In 2016, Watt moved to EIS Group Ltd as the Director of Product Strategy/Senior Consultant, where they focused on group benefits and voluntary platform consulting. In the same year, they co-founded Trendz Data, a company where they are currently a Co-Founder.

Watt's most recent position is at FINEOS, where they initially served as the Assistant Vice President of Product Management from September 2017 to February 2019. Dan was then promoted to Vice President of Product Management and held that role until March 2021. Dan is currently the Senior Vice President of Product Management & Industry Strategy at FINEOS.

Dan Watt attended La Salle College High School from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Science and Information Systems. Lastly, Dan Watt pursued their MBA at La Salle University from 2004 to 2007, specializing in Business.
